  6. Somehow you forgot to mention the primary language that NetBeans IDE supports: Java. It was originally a Java IDE, and continues to put a lot of competitive pressure on Eclipse.

QT Creator is good for one platform at a time, XPower++ crosss compiles natively for 6 platform with one simple click and no lib/search path hassle etc. perfect for fast cross platform development.
